Minefield/Campo Minado
Over the past decade, I’ve participated in several powerful productions, including Minefield (Campo Minado), directed by Lola Arias. This internationally acclaimed play brings together veterans from Argentina, Britain, and Nepal to explore our shared Falklands/Malvinas War experiences through memory, music, film, and wartime artefacts. Since 2015, Minefield has toured over 50 cities, with The Independent calling it “an unforgettably potent exercise in remembrance” and The Financial Times praising its “subtle, intelligent and compassionate” approach.
Theatre Of War
I performed in Theatre of War, a film that reimagines the Falklands/Malvinas conflict through artistic collaboration between former enemies. Blurring the line between documentary and performance, it invites audiences into the emotional archaeology of war. The film received international acclaim, winning the 2019 Silver Condor for Best Adapted Screenplay, the 2018 C.I.C.A.E. Award (Forum), and Best Sound Design for Sofía Straface. As one critic noted, “The trauma of the past is expressed in the woundedness of the present and through this expression finds a type of sanctuary.”
